It's easy enough to mistake the little quaint building with a cute porch as a house located in the middle of various bustling healthy food restaurants within Level 2, but the place isn't exactly a restaurant itself to begin with. Started and named by Ignis Scientia, The Melting Pot is a community kitchen open to the public. Whether you're a skilled cook that feels like teaching others or a newbie that wants to learn the ropes, all are welcome. Even those that are just interested in what they can get into their stomachs can step in and have a surprise order made for them depending on who happens to be working in the kitchen that day. Ignis himself can always be found here on the weekdays and has a set menu for his own personal dishes on each week.
Besides a small cozy dining area with a viewable kitchen area in the center (for those who would like to take a peak into the cooking process), there's a more private kitchenette on the second floor along with a small lounge area for cooks to sit and take a breather while they have a bite to eat for themselves.

❚ Business hours are 12pm to 8pm, or whenever anyone happens to be available for cooking. Ignis is around only during the weekdays. He will only make himself available on weekends if requested.
❚ Cooks are expected to bring their own ingredients, however outings to the Greatmoon Groves for produce are allowed, and Ignis tries to stock the kitchen with some of the basics every week. Fresh vegetables are always available, provided by Tsurugi Farmstead.
❚ Ignis is absent and unavailable during Iris moonphase, and The Melting Pot is closed during triple moon.
❚ Visitors (cooks, customers, learners, etc) are allowed on location during their own moonphase, however you are responsible for behaving yourself. Ignis WILL kick you out if he catches word of unpleasant goings-on. (He may be blind but word is his cane has a knife in it and he's not afraid to use it.)
❚ No indecent acts or sex allowed on the premises!! This place is only for taking care of one kind of appetite.
